"I am seeking a distant point at the origin of creation; where I sense a single formula for … all the forces surrounding us." Paul Klee

With movement up the x axis – above the zero-point intersection of axes y and z – the line of direction loses its boundlessness, movement along the vector is bounced into and across the plane. The expansion of our dimensionless point is now travel in any direction but forward.

The dimensionless point has reached the summit of its expansion and with nowhere else to go the forward momentum resolves itself in an inward return to ground zero. Particle wave duality intimates a space-time continuum that is both linear and circular, maybe cyclical, perhaps even a bouncing spherical ball.

Reduce this multi-dimensional conjecture to the confinement of an imagined dimensionless point and like Pandora’s box, the spirit of hope comes knocking.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

The Gospel according to St John – The King James’ authorised translation

Synchronous generation as the utterance of the Word gives birth to the source of its utterance?

The nameless was the beginning of heaven and earth;
The named was the mother of the myriad creatures.

Tao te Ching – Lao Tzu

As to which comes first, the named or nameless, the operation or operator …

The way up and down is one and the same

In the beginning ‘all’ and ‘nothing’ were one and then this one became a something with motion.

i…if one messes around enough with the physical form of language (either spoken or written) eventually you get to the point where it (the language) drops its load of conventional reference. When this happens you no longer have language because (by definition) language must include reference. Right on that edge, where language begins to move into either music or visual art – that is the place where sound and visual poetry start to occur…i
